If you want to contact me . . .

Please post a comment in this blog. I will respond by posting a comment. If you post a comment asking me to email you, I will ignore it. I use my personal email primarily for business purposes, and I do not use it to respond to unknown people about unknown matters. When I had my email posted publicly years ago, I received dozens of spam messages per day. I like to keep my personal email uncluttered for important correspondence.

This blog is the way to contact me. If you want to tell me something, then please state it in your comment. You will also be more credible if you provide your name. When you post anonymously, I automatically discount the content.

Whenever a comment is posted, it is sent to my personal email, so I definitely read it. As already stated, I will respond by coming here and posting a comment. It is really quite simple.

Hi Jennifer,
I'm working with Henry Darrow on his biography. Although Henry is the star of the book, a number of people have provided wonderful interviews and anecdotes, among them "Zorro" alums Raymond Austin, Patrice Martinez, John Hertzler and Jimmy Victor. It would be wonderful if Zorro fans could be made aware when the book is published. I'm also still conducting interviews if you know of anyone else from Zorro who might be interested in speaking with me.
Please email me at info@henrydarrowbook.com and/or visit our website: www.henrydarrowbook.com for more information.
Looking forward to hearing from you,
Jan Pippins

Hi Jennifer,
We'd like to put a link to your great NWZ site on henrydarrowbook.com and a reciprocal link would be wonderful. If not, no problem.
Can you email me privately?

Thanks,
Jan

It's fine with me. I hadn't cleaned up my New World Zorro links page in a long time, so this gave me a reason. I added a link to the links page, and I also added a link at the bottom of my Henry Darrow page.

I have just uncovered an old video tape my wife had. We are filtering out our VHS and so this was about to go in the Goodwill bin. I know one episode name is "Rush to Judgement" and believe there could be half of another and so on. I would like to know that someone wanting this tape got it in their hands. Please let me know if someone is wanting this tape and I will gladly forward it to them for postal costs. Thank you

Hi, My name is Brandi from USA & this message to who ever owns the website New World Zorro. On the Frequently Asked Questions, part of your website someone wanted to know What Breed was Toronado? It just so happens I know a little about horses after being around them for the last 20 years. I don't know for certain was his breed was but I can offer a few suggestions. Since the show was filmed in Spain I would guess that they may have used Spanish/barb horses or Andalusian breed horses. I don't think that they used Arabians but I could be wrong. Personally I thought that Toronado looked to big to be an Arabian but I could be wrong. I too have a lot of the shows on VHS tapes that I recorded from the show when it was on. I looked at the end credits of the show it doesn't mention at all who the trainer of the horses were.
I too would love to see this series on DVD. Let me know what I can do to help that happen.

Hi Jennifer, First I want to say that I love your New World Zorro website & I remember watching that Zorro TV show. I cried when it was canceled.
I thought that if you want to update your Juan Diego Botto(Felipe) biography, I have some new information for you. Since I am not sure when this bio was written but his girlfriend's name is Olga Rodriguez not Ana Rayo (that could have been an old girlfriend). I did find out that in April of this year Juan & Olga had a baby girl. I don't know the exact birth date or what they named her just that they are new parents. Congrats to Juan & Olga! I found out that information on Juan's unofficial website site, which is by the way in Spanish, but I found a computer at work that can translate some Spanish websites.
In case there are any other Juan fans like me, I thought that they would like to know. I had a huge crush on him as Felipe even though he is 12 years younger than me. Oh Well :(

Just thought you would like to know.

Brandi

I wanted to let you know how helpful I've found the Zorro legend website. If you have time, I have a couple of questions about McCulley's original stories that I'd like to ask you; I can be contacted at joe@ivycomputer.com.

As stated in this post, please go ahead and let me know what you need. I'm not sure if I can help. I haven't read all of the stories, and I haven't read them in years.

Regardless of whether I can help, the fine folks in the Johnston McCulley Zorro group will be able to help. They know far more about Johnston McCulley's stories than I do.
